AI CostGuard

This page is in English; the directory is not. The 148 entries and their evidence are written in German, as is the vendor area. We are happy to correspond in English.

KI-Radar · For vendors

Your entry is in the directory either way. Make sure it is right.

We check 148 AI tools against publicly demonstrable sources — including yours, whether you take part or not. The vendor programme gives you an account to evidence, dispute and keep your entry current, plus advance notice before a changed rating is published.

The boundary first, the offer second

Independence principle

Vendors can commission a review — never an outcome. Ratings are not for sale. Inclusion in the directory is and remains free of charge and independent of participation in the vendor programme.

A vendor in the programme can end up looking worse in the directory than before, if that is what the review finds. We accept your evidence and we examine it — but what gets published is still written by us.

This is not modesty. A directory in which ratings can be bought is worthless to the data protection officers who read it — and therefore worthless to you as a listed vendor. The value of your entry comes precisely from the fact that you cannot determine it.

For that reason the directory does not show who takes part and who does not. Non-participation is not held against you.

What the programme provides

Your own account

You see the published state of your tool, criterion by criterion, with the review date and method. Any statement can be disputed or updated with evidence.

Document changelog

When one of your documents changes — DPA, certificate, subprocessor list — the state is carried forward with a date. Your customers can see since when what applies.

Objection with evidence review

You can dispute any statement. We examine the evidence and give reasons for the decision — accepted, not accepted, or query. Readable in your account.

Prices net, plus statutory VAT, one-year term. The programme does not create a right to any particular presentation. A submission without publicly verifiable evidence is marked as a vendor statement or not adopted. The result of an in-depth review is published with source and review date — regardless of whether it favours the commissioning vendor or not.

How a submission works

You submit. In the vendor area you pick the criterion concerned, enter the correct statement and provide a publicly retrievable source.
We examine the evidence. The test is whether a third party can verify the statement. Evidence reachable only after login does not count as public proof.
We decide — and give reasons. Accepted, not accepted, or query. You see the status and the reasoning in your account.
If accepted, a new review record is created. The previous one stays visible in the history. Customers watching your tool are notified of the change — and if you are in the programme, you hear about it first.

Common questions

Can I buy a better rating?

No. See above — that is the condition under which the directory gets read at all. It is built that way technically: your submission enters a review queue, not the publication path. Only a review record written by us is published.

My entry is wrong. Do I have to pay to fix it?

No. Write to us with evidence at aicostguard@itconsulting-fb.com. If we got it wrong, we correct it and record the change in the history. A correction never costs anything.

What does “not findable” mean in my entry?

Exactly that: at the time of checking we found no publicly retrievable evidence. It is not a statement that none exists. If it does, show us — that is the most common successful submission.

What happens if I do not take part?

Your entry remains and continues to be monitored daily for source changes. Participation is not a condition for being listed, and non-participation is not noted in the entry.

Are my customers told about changes?

Yes, if they have your tool on their watchlist — that is the purpose of the service. Inside the programme you are informed in advance, with ten working days to respond before the notification goes out.

Is the vendor area available in English?

The area itself is in German. Correspondence with us can be in English, and we are happy to walk you through a submission.
